Upholstered panels provide a unique character to any interior. Their various shapes and colours make it possible to create a unique room interior that attracts attention and makes our surroundings unique.

In addition to the visual aspect, the use of panels also has many practical advantages: they improve the acoustics and thermal insulation of a room, making it cosier and more comfortable.

The panels are perfect as headrests and backrests, and look beautiful in all kinds of alcoves or when employed as a decorative element. Using panels in the children’s room is a very good idea. Combined with a homey bed, they create a unique and cosy space.

Installation

  • The panels can be fixed to the wall using special Velcro tape or suitable adhesive.
  • Using a Velcro fastener for installation is a very good solution if the panels are fixed to a smooth, straight, properly primed and dust-free wall. In this case, the strong adhesive of the Velcro tape ensures that the panel is firmly attached to the surface.
  • If the wall to which you want to attach the panels does not meet the above requirements, it is much better to use an adhesive that has a high initial strength and immediate adhesion. One of the adhesives that meet these requirements is Bostik Mammoth.

Materials used:
7-8 mm thick furniture board
anti-allergenic upholstery foam with hygienic certificate issued by the National Institute of Hygiene (PZH)
upholstery fabric – synthetic velour with ‘OEKO-TEX Confidence in Textiles’ certificate

Size:
maximum panel thickness (in the middle part) is about 5 cm

Please note:
Regardless of the installation method chosen for the upholstered panels, damage to the wall may occur during removal.

Panel design:

The base of the upholstered panel is a 7-8 mm thick furniture board, which gives it adequate rigidity and strength and provides sufficient thermal and acoustic insulation properties.

The panel is filled with high-quality upholstery foam with anti-allergic properties. The foam used is characterised by very good thermal and acoustic insulation, as well as high elasticity and low weight. All of these features give the foam very good performance characteristics, sufficient softness and lack of permanent deformation.

A soft, matt and fluffy Matt Velvet fabric was used to upholster the panel. This material is moth-proof, does not fade, has high strength and is resistant to rubbing and fuzzing. Thanks to their low level of absorbency and ease of cleaning, the panels can be kept clean for a very long time. The main advantage of the Matt Velvet fabric is its very low shading tendency, which helps to avoid the streaks typical of velvet fabrics.

Please note: Actual fabric colours may vary slightly from those shown in the samples. This is due to individual monitor settings or technological factors occurring during the production process.
